![]() Both have allowed me to save a significant amount of money on my budget. The app contains an extensive library of over 10,000 recipes. It has helped me cut down on impulse or duplicate food buying and food waste from spoilage. Like the BBC’s TV programming, the BBC Good Food app is an excellent source for unbiased, straightforward recipes. I really like the app and purchased the upgrade. If it showed me the automatic classification before transferring it into inventory, I could have the chance to edit the category to what I wanted it to read before I added it to inventory. I have to do a separate search for the item that I just set up to figure out how the app classified it. My second complaint is that when you enter a new food item and assign a new location, it automatically assigns the food category, and it’s not always what I would have selected. It takes more time to have to re-set up the product in my inventory again than it would to just reverse the last action (as when editing a photo of a new product). The sliding gage that you set the %used is too close to the “finished” button. I am constantly erasing entries by accident because of my clumsy fingers. My biggest complaint is that there is no “undo” button for inventory or shopping lists. It is labor intensive at first, but once you get the routine down, the rhythm flows. All of a sudden, I had so much food in my pantry and refrigerator! I had to learn new ways to eat healthy and not waste food, especially fresh fruits and veggies. I got this app because my household went from 3 adults to only me overnight. ![]() If there was a way to give it more stars I would. There are so many more features I have not even touched on as I continue to learn more and more each time I use it. The devs support family sharing and I can attest that if my wife makes a change I see it in real time. Paying for the yearly service is definitely worth it in my opinion if you are going to be tracking a large amount of items. Top tier of all customer service experiences I've ever had without any reservation. Dealing with them makes me think "Amex, Bose, or Apple," level quality of care in the way I've been treated. The app development and support team are outstanding, extremely pleasant and very helpful. If you use it, go to the overall list and barcode it. French startup Weasyn provides a domestic household food inventory system. From there you can assign locations so you know where your food is : basement, garage, etc. An intuitive interface enables you to configure count sheets exactly the way they appear in the kitchen and quickly add or subtract products from your inventory. Easily you can barcode all of the items in your pantry, storage or cabinets, add quantities and expiration dates. Whether you are on a budget, trying to organize or just hate finding food you forgot all about - this app covers all the bases. Pantry Check has been the most integrated into my daily life in our family. These guidelines will help you set the expiration dates.I've written many reviews on various platforms for products, services and applications. There is even an informational aspect to the app as you can read general guidelines on how long each type of food can be kept in the freezer before going bad. This list can always be shared with others living in the house too so everyone is on the same page. Search and find the food you are looking for and what's in the freezer in seconds. The app remembers items that have been added in the past so that once it's used it will be quick to add it again. Using the food inventory you can plan your meals 3 weeks ahead, save recipes and match with current inventory stock. This is a quick and easy way to know what you need to use up before it's too late. ![]() What's really handy about this app is that after you enter in an expiration date those items will be highlighted in bright pink as they near their end date. It was recently updated with additional tools to make it more user-friendly plus some minor bug fixes.Įveryone is guilty of letting food go to waste from time to time and unfortunately items stored in the freezer are often the ones going to waste. The app requires iOS 8.0 or later to use and doesn't yet have a customer rating or customer comments. Because this app syncs on all your devices you will always know what you have on hand, what you need to buy, and what you don't need more of. ![]() If you'd rather, you can always input the name of the item manually. Next you'll be able to add an expiration date, a note, and which freezer you have put it in. All you have to do is tell Alexa what you want to add and specify which list you. Inputting your items is simple and fast because all you have to do is scan the barcode. Out of the box, Alexa can help you maintain lists for shopping and to-dos. That couldn't be further from the truth where the Cloud-Freezer app is concerned. When you read the words " inventory tool" it's easy to jump to conclusions and assume the app is going to be confusing and not very user-friendly. ![]() Get for free A User-Friendly Inventory Tool ![]()
